I was drawing a bunch of angel sketches for another project, thinking about the nature of angels. I imagine if they were to exist, they must assume a vast level of superiority over humans, and perhaps a bit of disdain. Angels have been so frequently represented in recent imagery as warm and gentle, but this is more of an Old Testament envoy of God's wrath, the kind that raises tsunamis, aims meteors, and flattens cities with earthquakes.
